Chatfield State Park Engagement Session – Heather & Brandon

Sessions like this one remind me of why fall is my favorite season!! Cooler weather, gorgeous sunsets, changing leaves – all things that make for perfect engagement sessions. Heather and Brandon’s Chatfield State Park engagement session was all these things and more! First off, Heather and Brandon were so much fun to work with! Whether or not Brandon believes it, these two were complete naturals in front of the camera and I feel like I really got to capture how they truly are together because of that. There were so many sweet moments of them laughing or snuggling up together that I didn’t have to coach them at all to get! A photographer’s dream! And speaking of my dream’s Heather’s outfits came straight out of them! I was so in love with her second dress. I don’t even have to tell you why, you’ll see that. It fit Heather perfectly and looked SO great against the changing fall leaves of Chatfield! I haven’t done many Chatfield State Park engagement sessions, but I need to! This spot is so versatile, with a whole ton of different little places just tucked away. It gave us so many options for Heather and Brandon’s engagement session, I literally couldn’t stop shooting! Heather is a girl after my own heart and was all for it, and Brandon so graciously tolerated both of us! It’s always a good sign when a guy will lovingly endure an extra long photo session simply because it makes his wife-to-be happy. You’ve got a good one there, Heather, but I’m pretty sure you know that!
