Thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the internet! I am a wedding photographer based in Denver, Colorado. Grab a nice hot drink (or glass of wine!) cuddle up, and enjoy browsing my latest work and getting a peek into my life!
Where do I even being with this one?! Well, to start, even since I started this photography journey, I’ve been dying to shoot a destination wedding somewhere tropical. I love the beach, I love traveling, and I wanted to combine that with my love of photography. Stacey & Cameron’s Barcelo Maya Palace Resort Wedding was the PERFECT spot for my first ever beach destination wedding. Shooting this wedding literally was a dream come true for me.
I met Cameron and Stacey through Stacey’s sister, Emily. I have to give Emily a little shout out here, if it wasn’t for her, I would never have been at this wedding, OR at their other sister’s Natalie’s (which you can check out here!) Thank you, Emily, for introducing me to your beautiful, amazing family!!
Now, on to the couple! I love these two!! Cameron and Stacey are beautiful, loving, SO friendly and just a blast to be around!! They were completely open to my ideas (which I love!) and always treated us as if we were part of the group, not just the photographers. I was so lucky that my first destination wedding was with a couple as lovely as them! And I’m honored that they chose me to photograph their Barcelo Maya Palace Wedding.
The Barcelo Maya Palace Deluxe Resort is seriously an incredible resort. If you’re thinking about going to the Riviera Maya, stay here! It’s massive, really it’s a string of 6 Barcelo resorts all lined up next to each other. If you stay at the Palace you can take advantage of the amenities at all of them. There’s so much to do here that you don’t even have to leave the resort to have an amazing vacation. My favorite part of the trip (aside from this incredible wedding) was when my fiance and I wandered down past the Dolphin attraction and explored the beach there. It was much quieter there than at the beach closer to our room. We waded out into the crystal clear water and just kept wading, and wading, and wading. We were probably out at least a hundred yards, and the water was still only waist deep. My kind of ocean experience!
I also have to give a huge shout out to my fiance, Dillon, who was my second photographer down in Mexico. He did an AMAZING job, and I’m so, so proud of him!
Thank you SO much, Cameron and Stacey, for including me in your beautiful Barcelo Maya Palace Resort wedding. I will truly never forget this amazing experience. I wish you two (and Gabby!) and very long and very happy life together!
